*Great weekdays with friends*
La Creperie de Caroline which is located at the same row of
shops which has of Tous Les Jours and Chawan. You
must be on the look out for it whereas if you are coming from the Bangsar
Village, Jalan Telawi 3. The restaurant has a rather open concept with its
bar situated at the back of the restaurant rather than the side of the
restaurant which is the norm for restaurant design and its kitchen is hidden in
the back.. The whole restaurant was very modern and also quite warm and homey
with its wooden furniture and the most interesting thing its wall is covered in
glass and their doors is all glass which I have never seen them able to be fold
like that.
Thanks
to the service team for working hard in hopes of making this a pleasant morning
for us.
The La Breitz Burger has been a
hit, this brown crepe with a thin layer of melted emmenthal cheese in between,
with its six corners folded up in a hexagonal shape and marked with parsley. On
top of it is a ring of cooked tomatoes, another of onions, then sautéed minced
beef, and a runny egg in the centre. It’s scrumptious, lovely and buttery, with
the soft and sweet vegetables coming together with the crispy beef and runny
egg.

Serving a range of coffees from all states in Malaysia. coffee
is Chawan's specialty . They named all their coffee using the name of states
and towns in Malaysia. I asked the friendly waitress what's their famous coffee
that people always ordered and she mentioned Kemaman coffee, Ipoh coffee and
Chawan Frappe. There is a set menu breakfast that you can choose a cheap price
and is delicious as nasi lemak, noodles, bread and other nets. The Chawan also
serves as tomato rice, nasi briyani, nasi meat and so forth. There is also a
lunch menu as fish nuggets, shrimp fritters, fried bananas, desserts and so on.

*our time enjoying at café Tous Les Jours
By now, most people would have heard of Tous Les Jours. The
French-themed bakery shop which is prominently situated just opposite of Hong
Leong Bank in Telawi Square has generated quite a buzz when it was opened in
June this year. Tous Les Jours which means ‘Everyday’ in French is one of the
biggest bakery chain in Korea. Many would be surprise to learn that the brand
originates from Korea rather than France despite its name and French-inspired
decor. The brand is owned by a South Korean conglomerate holding company called
CJ Group.
Wide selection of pastries, cakes and sandwiches. Can't wait
to try the rest
Huge bread selection at 8:30am Saturday morning. It can get
confusing!
Interior of tous les jours, you will notice the
bread are displayed with easy access while they have a screen to keep the
sandwiches and cold drinks.
